Iodine Tincture provides iodine in a liquid liposomal delivery form, which ensures excellent bioavailability with a targeted and sustained release delivery. Each dropper provides 150mcg iodine, which is the daily recommended amount.
The human body needs iodine in order to produce thyroid hormones and to support normal thyroid function. Thyroid hormones regulate not only the metabolism, but also heart and digestive function, brain development, muscular control and the maintenance of bone. The thyroid gland produces several important hormones including thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3), which are both made up of molecules of tyrosine and iodine. In order to function properly, the thyroid needs good levels of iodine.
